Package from UPS with nothing inside but padding

I got a package from UPS. When I opened it there was nothing in it. Just a padded part of another package from united postal service. That was it. Nothing else.

The phone number on it was (480) 238-2022 and the address says 13353 SW 135th Ave, Miami, FL 33186. There was also an email [email protected]. I didn't lose any money but this whole thing is weird. Why would someone send an empty package.

Got a fake UPS invoice notice for over a thousand dollars

I got this notice saying it's from UPS, that I owe $1,190.25. It's for ten invoices from November last year to January this year. The whole thing came from a company using the phone number (877) 869-7502.

My credit card number was stolen or used fraudulently back in the fall, so I'm pretty sure this is connected to that. Now they've sent me to collections over it. I already filed a police report last month with the Lancaster police about all this.
