Loan company with a name too close to Upstart
The company name they gave is Upstart Corporation, but when I looked it up it’s actually Upstart LLC Holdings. That’s not the same thing. I asked about it and the guy just kept deflecting. Wouldn’t give me a straight answer about anything.
They list an address at 595 Market St Suite 200 in San Francisco. I tried calling the number they gave, (818) 217-0274, and it’s the same person every time. No website or anything to verify. I didn’t lose any money yet but something feels off.
