Email saying I owe money and going to court tomorrow

I got an email from [email protected] saying I owe money. They said if I don't pay they're gonna log it into court tomorrow. I don't even know who these people are. There's no company name I recognize, just this email address. They're in California I guess. I never got anything in the mail or a real notice, just this email out of nowhere.
