Job offer from Velomatrix Group seemed off after I looked them up
Something made me google them first before committing to anything. Glad I did because now I'm not so sure about this whole thing. The person reaching out was [email protected] and the phone number was (719) 992-7606. There's also an address listed in Denver, CO.
I didn't lose any money but wanted to put this out there in case someone else gets the same offer.
Email about a job interview from someone named Emma Jones
The weird thing is I never applied for any job at this company. I don't know how they got my info. The email had a link to their website velomatrixgroup.com/guide and said to call or text (515) 686-5314. There was also another number (719) 992-7606 listed at the bottom.
The email was signed by Emma Jones with an email address [email protected] and an address in Lakewood, CO. It just doesn't make sense. I never signed up for this and now I'm getting these messages.
Job offer call that turned out to be a scam
After doing some more research I found out this is a known scam. They took my social security number and photos of my driver's license. The packages you process are often stolen goods or stuff bought with someone else's card.
Their phone number is (719) 665-9884 and the website is velomatrixgroup.com. The address is 7175 W Jefferson Ave Unit 417, Denver, CO 80235. Email was [email protected].
