Hired for work from home job but never got paid

So I got contacted by this company about a work from home job, which I was really excited about since it was my first one. I got an email saying they were hiring in my area, Glastonbury Connecticut, and that they were a new company expanding their product distribution. Seemed legit at first. I signed HR papers, put in my bank info for payment, all that.

They told me my first month pay would be a check mailed to me, but that check never showed up. They said after I was hired full time my pay would go up. Funny thing is, I actually received three packages to deliver to customers. They were supposed to send items to my house and I deliver them, which I did. But I never got paid a cent for any of it. I lost about $3500 in the end.

I don't know if the BBB can do anything to get me my money, but hopefully I can at least warn other people about this.

Job with Ventorica turned out to be free work

I saw this work from home job with Ventorica and it seemed legit. They set me up with a CRM profile and everything, looked like a real company. I did the work they asked, thinking I was employed and would get paid.

But when it came time to actually pay me, they just ghosted me. No reply, nothing. I lost $3700 because of this. They use you for free labor and make you think you're really hired. The number I had was (213) 486-3702 and their site is Ventorica.com. They are based in Los Angeles, CA. It's just a scam to get free work out of people.
