Paid a dollar but they charged 24.99 and kept it

I went on their website vinclarity.com to check a vin number. It said the price was 1.00 so I paid that. Next thing I know they took 24.99 out of my account. I didn't agree to that at all.

I called them and they said they would refund the 24.99 but they never did. I even tried to get my money back through Cashapp and they denied my claim. So I'm just out the money now. Their phone number is (900) 969-1940 and the address on the site is 1955 Braidway Suite 600, Oakland, CA 94612. I just want my 24.99 back.

Charged me $25 a month when I only wanted to pay $1

I got a text from vinclarity.com saying I could get vehicle information for $1. I went to the site and it made me set up an "account" to pay the dollar. They never said anything about it being a subscription.

I only needed the info one time. Then I saw these weird $25 charges on my credit card statement. They charged me five times, $25 every month. I never asked for or needed any monthly service. I just wanted to pay the one dollar.
