Phone calls saying I owe a loan I never took out

Someone called me from (855) 626-0236 and said I had a loan through a loan shark called VIP Loans for $300. I have never taken out a loan like that. They first got to me through a friend's phone number.

I called them back many times and recorded my end of the line. Every time, all they would tell me was that I owed this $300 loan. I asked for a certified letter. They said they sent one, but I never got it. When I asked for more information, they got frustrated and hung up on me.

Be cautious dealing with these people.
