Job offer turned into a weird personal situation
Three days after that, I got an offer letter from Maya. It had a signing bonus and everything, over $700k in salary and bonus and crypto. But Elina started messaging me every day on whatsapp. She kept talking about the company and the role but then she started getting too personal. She made offers I wasn't interested in. I told her I'm married and not interested but she kept pushing.
Then she had me open an account on Kraken and she wanted me to trade money. After about 4 weeks she just disappeared. The address they used was 315 Montgomery Street in San Francisco and her email was [email protected]. I lost about $1000 in all this.
