Phone call about legal papers being served at my job
The message said to call Walker and Associates at 470-264-8366 and use case number 96324 if I want to redirect the service away from work. Also said if I don't respond I'm still legally responsible and they're taking action against me. The call was logged to satisfy court notification requirements.
Something felt off about it. The phone number on the caller ID was (470) 995-3852 but the number they told me to call back was different. I've never heard of any of this and it didn't make sense.
Phone call saying legal papers coming tomorrow
She said it requires my signature and that I need to call Walker and Associates at 470-264-8366 and reference case number 0891. I don't know what this is about. I haven't gotten any mail or anything about any kind of case. The caller ID showed (470) 762-0544 but no company name.
I'm not calling that number back. Seems like a phishing thing to me. Just wanted to report it so maybe it helps someone else.
