Account set up with Walmart that I did not make
I have no idea how this happened. Someone used my info to open this account and now there's a balance of over $1300 on it. I just want this taken care of.
Voicemail about a $699 GoPro I never bought
It said if I don't recognize the purchase to call back or press one to speak with a Walmart customer support representative. I didn't press anything and I didn't call back. I never bought a GoPro and I don't know why Walmart would be leaving me a voicemail like this.
The number doesn't look like anything I've seen from Walmart before either. Just wanted to put this out there.
Phone call saying a Walmart account was opened in my name
Then it told me if it wasn't me, to press one to talk to Walmart customer support, or call back the same number that showed up on my caller ID.
I didn't press anything. The whole thing felt off, and the grammar in the message was bad too, which made it seem even less real. I never opened any account like that.
Voicemail about a Walmart account I never made
It said if this wasn't me to press one to talk to Walmart customer support or call back the same number that showed on my caller ID. Then the recording just stopped and it was silence for the rest of the call. The whole voicemail was 58 seconds.
I don't even shop at Walmart regularly, maybe once in a while. This whole thing didn't make sense to me.
Call saying a big purchase was made on my Walmart account
Voicemail about a $2,499 charge for a MacBook and iPhone
I called back and right away something felt off. The person didn't seem to know much and it just didn't add up. They said they cancelled the order, then transferred me to the social security administration to talk about protecting my information because it looked like it had been compromised.
That made no sense to me. When I wouldn't give the lady, who said her name was Jamie Green, the last 4 numbers of my social security number, she hung up on me.
Cashiers double scan items at Springhill Walmart
I don't know if it's on purpose or what but it happens way too much to be a mistake. Every time I go in there I have to stand there and check the screen the whole time because if I don't catch it they just keep the extra money.
It's the store on 1920 S Arkansas St. I just want to be able to buy my things without having to argue at the register every time.
Five texts in five hours about Walmart orders I didn't make
I didn't order anything from them online. Not sure what this was about. It felt like phishing honestly. Just weird to get that many messages that fast when I haven't even used my account. No money lost or anything but still annoying.
Clearance ad for TVs at 9.99 that wasn’t real
After that, nothing. No email, no tracking number, no TV. I tried to go back to the page but it was gone. I called the number on my bank statement but it just rang and rang. I feel stupid for falling for it but it really did look like a real Walmart clearance thing.
I’m out the 17.95 and didn’t get anything for it. Just wanted to put this out there so maybe someone else doesn’t make the same mistake.
Walmart.com charge I never made and no one knows about
I looked up the address that came with the charge, 111 Park Dr Apt C in Pueblo, CO, and it's just a house in the middle of nowhere. I found other people online who had the same thing happen with that exact address. They all said it showed up as a Walmart.com charge but they never bought anything either. Their amounts were different though, mine was just 32 bucks.
Seems like they were testing to see if they could get into my money and maybe try bigger stuff later. Just glad it wasn't more.
Bike from Walmart broke in less than two weeks
I tried reaching out but the only contact I had was from some email [email protected] and a phone number 1(585) 576-9537. That didn't feel right. I paid about 300 dollars for this thing.
I don't know what to do now. The bike is just sitting there.
Olivia from Walmart called me about fake accounts and I almost gave my info
She claimed to transfer me to the social security identity theft department and Pamela Crawford, ID#080419 told me she needed the last four numbers of my social security number. I went to my bank and they told me it was a scam.
Got a call about a PlayStation 5 I never ordered
Voicemail about a fake iPad charge on my card
Got a weird voicemail about a Walmart purchase I didn't make
The message told me to call a fraud department at 970-303-2043 if I didn't recognize the transaction. It repeated that part. I don't have a purchase like that. The whole thing felt off.
I'm just reporting this voicemail because it seems like a scam. I didn't call the number they gave.
Got a strange voicemail about a Walmart purchase I didn't make.
They told me a Playstation 5 special edition bundle and a headset were ordered in my name. The total was for $1537.35. I never ordered anything like that. The whole thing felt off.
My Walmart account was suspended and they won't give me my money
I don't get what violations they're trying to charge me with, something about a "return violation." I returned all the items. I've been a member since 2021 and I've spent over $50,000 with them. I asked them to fix this right away.
They never explained what the violations were. As a customer, I have a right to know the details. I have my own money sitting in that account.
Got a weird voicemail about a Walmart purchase I didn't make
I didn't buy anything. The whole thing felt off. The number they wanted me to call is 805-236-10, but the call came from a different number, which was (575) 388-4103. I didn't call back. It just didn't make sense.
Got a text saying my Walmart account was stolen
The whole thing felt off. The text came from a number I didn't know, and they said the address was in MB, CAN. I'm in the United States. I didn't click anything or give them any information, so I didn't lose any money. But it was a weird message to get out of the blue about my Walmart account.
