Phone call saying someone bought an Xbox in my name

Someone called me from (510) 370-9569 saying they were from the Walmart fraud department. They told me someone was trying to buy an Xbox in my name from Walmart in New York and opening a new business account under my name and phone number.

Then they connected me to someone who said they were law enforcement. That person asked for my drivers license and the last 4 digits of my social security number.

It all felt off. I didn't give them anything.

Call about Xbox and iPad I never bought

Someone called saying they were from Walmart fraud department. They said they found a Xbox and iPad and wanted to confirm if this was my purchase. I didn't buy any of that stuff.

They told me to call back this number 970-303-2486. I know I never ordered anything like that so it didn't make sense. Just wanted to put this out there so others know.

Automated call about a Walmart purchase I never made

I got a call on my cellphone from (817) 945-8186. It was an automated message saying there was a pre-authorized purchase on my Walmart account. An Xbox Series X and an iPad 11, $3499 total.

The message said if I didn't recognize the transaction to call the fraud department at 813-934-5003. It repeated that number twice. I don't have any Walmart account with purchases like that, so the whole thing didn't make sense to me.

The number that called and the number they wanted me to call back are different, which felt strange. I didn't call either one.
