Called saying I owe $600 on a charged off Mastercard

Got a call from (985) 666-0318 saying I owe $600.00 on a Mastercard that was charged off in 2022. They said I needed to pay the past due amount before I get served papers to appear in court. That alone felt off to me.

I called the number back and it went to a voicemail for “Walter Steven’s”. When I called again and asked for their physical address so I could look them up with the BBB, the person refused to give it to me and just hung up.

No address, no real company info, just a phone number. I didn't pay anything but I'm pretty sure this isn't a legit debt collector.
