Got a fake check in the mail about a car warranty waiver

I got something in the mail to my home address from a place calling itself Warranty Services, phone number (888) 801-8190. It looked like a check and said it was an "Allocated Waiver" for $199.00. It told me to call 1-888-801-8190.

The letter said it was a FINAL NOTICE from my current lender, "Us Bk National Assn." They had my correct name and home address on it, which felt really off. I looked it up and saw on Google that other people have gotten this exact same thing. It's a known scam tactic. I didn't call the number or lose any money, but getting this official-looking fake check with all my personal info is unsettling.
