Phone call saying a 30 day notice was going to county court

Someone called and said because we didn't respond to a 30 day notice, it was being sent to the county court for a civil suit. We weren't even zoned for that. So we called back to verify, and they said it was about an unpaid balance of 2907.00 for Providian Bank.

Then they sent an email that was suspicious, from dropbox, with the name Debbie Miller and email [email protected]. My wife's name was misspelled on it. We didn't click the link and reported it as spam. Saw it was already reported on Ecautious.org.
