Email about my resume from Work in Texas wanting to send an echeck

I got an email saying they received my resume from Work in Texas and wanted to schedule an interview. So we go through the process and then they tell me they want to send me an echeck.

I told them no. I said send me a check instead, or better yet send me a pc with all the software on it that I would need to do my job. They responded that they would get back to me.

I called Work in Texas after that, and then my bank.

Two hour Cisco web chat interview that made no sense

Did a Cisco web chat interview that lasted almost two hours. They offered me a position but couldn't even tell me which position it was for. Just gave details on the job requirements. Then they said they would send me a check to purchase some programs needed. They asked for my bank name to see if it was compatible.

I reached out to Sherri and confronted her about this being a scam. She said thanks to modern technology the process is straightforward. They will email an e-check for immediate deposit. If my bank supports mobile check deposits I can scan and submit it through my banking app to avoid delays.
