Job offer with wrong email address and no phone call
The person's name was supposed to be Jose Jackson. I had some questions before accepting the offer so I emailed him back but got no response. Then I started looking closer at everything and noticed his email was @winter-environmentals.com with an "s" instead of the real winter-environmental.com. Everything else looked legit though, same logo and all that.
Also there was no phone number for this Jose guy anywhere and no one tried to interview me by phone which felt really off. Good thing I didn't go any further with it.
Job posting on Indeed turned out to be a scam
The email just felt off. The address didn't look right, and the whole vibe of the messages was strange. It didn't make sense for a real company. I didn't lose any money because I backed out before it went any further, but I wanted to report it.
It's frustrating because you think you're applying for a real job and it turns out to be some kind of scam. I just hope no one else falls for it.
