Text saying I have a traffic violation and must pay by March 9

I got a message saying it was a Wisconsin DMV urgent alert. It said a pending traffic violation was filed on my record and that penalty action starts March 10th. It mentioned some code, Wisconsin Administrative Code 16C-16.003, and said if I don't settle by March 9, 2026, my registration gets suspended and I get a 30-day suspension of driving privilege plus a 35% surcharge. It even said possible court proceedings.

The link they gave was https://wisconsindot.org-ctgyu.bond/dmv and they told me to submit payment right away and access the link in my browser. It said ignoring the message causes automatic suspension and to reply Y for more info.

The phone number on it was (262) 757-3480 and there was an address too, 819 Cornerstone Xing Apt. 9, Waterford, WI 53185. I didn't pay anything. The whole thing just didn't look right to me.
