HP transfer turned into a lifetime care package I didn't want

I bought an HP printer, a Desk Jet 2900, and I couldn't get it working. So I contacted HP and somehow ended up transferred to a x digitech technician. Nobody told me that was happening. The printer does work now, so I guess whatever they did fixed it. They told me my PC had some kind of malware on it and said they cleaned it up.

Then they sold me a lifetime care package for $1800 to keep my PC and other devices free from web problems going forward. After that I started having trouble getting on the internet. My landline telephone stopped working and my modem stopped working too.

I looked this company up online and found a similar scam. I'm out $1800 and now my phone and modem don't even work.
