Paid $1.95 for quiz results then got charged $39.95

I was reading an article on my tablet and saw this insert about a quiz, I think it was for health or something like that. So I took it. The quiz itself was free but to see the results it was $1.95. I'm 95 years old and I get forgetful and I'm not too good at figuring these things out, so I went ahead and used my Discover card.

Well, that was a mistake. Discover told me there was nothing they could do about it and I was stuck with that charge. But then I was looking at my card online on August 2nd and I see another charge for $39.95. I tried talking to Discover again but they weren't much help. All they would do is block them for 6 months. So I'm out the money and they can still charge me after that I guess.
