Phone call about a lawsuit against my son from a processor office

Got a call from this number (888) 603-1391 saying there was a lawsuit against my son from the processor office. They said if I didn't contact them there would be further proceedings.

I don't even know what processor office they were talking about. No company name was given. Just that number and they said they were in Columbus, OH. Felt really strange. My son doesn't owe anything that I know of. No money was lost but it was just a weird call.

Phone call saying they were suing me over a debt

Got a call from this number (888) 603-1391. The guy said he was contacting me about a lawsuit. I didn't recognize the debt he was talking about. He had my name and some old address but no company name or anything.

I asked who he worked for and he just said he was handling the case. Wouldn't give me a website or a real business name. Just kept pushing me to pay something right then. Sounded like a collection scam honestly.

I didn't send any money. But I'm worried they might have my info. No email or letter ever came about any lawsuit. Just this one weird call.
