Letter saying I have grocery vouchers waiting but no company name
I got this letter in the mail saying “AAPP is holding your $309.64 in grocery & gas vouchers. Please call (656) 220-0207 immediately, failure to claim will result in an automatic forfeiture.” That just seemed weird to me. I never signed up for anything like that.
I tried calling that number (656) 220-0207 a couple times but nobody picks up. It just rings and rings. I don’t even know who AAPP is or what they do. No website or anything on the letter.
It feels like some kind of phishing thing trying to get my info. I didn’t lose any money but I wanted to report it so nobody else falls for it.

A good way to test the validity of this is to provide them with a different claim # then what appears on the card. If they just accept the # you provide, then it's not legit. They should first confirm the correct # before proceeding.

Got a mailing about a grocery voucher I never signed up for
I got this mailing from something called AAPP. It was offering me a $310 grocery or gas voucher. It just showed up, I never asked for it or signed up for anything.
The message came from the phone number (656) 265-0152. It felt off right away. I didn't click anything or give any information, so no money was taken. But I don't like getting these random offers. I don't know who they are or how they got my information.

Got a postcard in the mail about grocery vouchers I never signed up for.
I got this postcard in the mail saying AAPP is holding $309.64 for me in grocery and gas vouchers. It told me to call 813-725-3143 right away. There was a barcode with another number, 813-793-7734, and it gave me a personal claim number.
I didn't call either number because the whole thing felt off. I knew it was a scam. I just want to put this information out there so other people know.
