Getting calls from 917 numbers and an 844 line claiming to be ABA
I keep getting calls from a bunch of 917 numbers, all times of day, even after 5pm. Since my own cell is a 917, it feels like they're trying to look like a local call. They just leave a basic voicemail and hang up.
There's never a real person unless you call back the 844 number they use, which is (844) 441-2617. When I called, I had to ask the representative for her name and what company this even was. She said her name was Amy and the company is called ABA. They never said who they were calling for or why they were calling me in the first place.
