Job posting on Indeed turned out to be a scam
So I emailed them and we started talking on Microsoft Teams. They had me do a questionnaire and I gave them my name and address. That's it. I got "approved" the next day and that's when it felt weird. They told me they were going to send me a check through email and that I had to do a mobile deposit ONLY. That was a huge red flag.
I looked into it and found other people posting about the same number and text on this site. I just told them I wasn't interested anymore. Their website is Adrenalineinteractive.ai but I don't trust anything about them.
Job offer felt off after the bank flagged the check
Then they sent me a check to deposit for office supplies. My bank manager looked at it and said it seemed fishy. I looked it up on Reddit and found a post saying it’s a scam. Reported it on Ecautious.com too. Their website is Adrenalineinteractive.ai and they’re based in Ann Arbor. Email was [email protected]. Phone number was 1(877) 359-2071.
