Got a call about a loan I never applied for.

I just got a call from someone named Adriana Salazar. The number that showed up on my cell was 609-626-7053. She said she was from the verification department and was calling about my loan application.

The thing is, I haven't applied for any loans. Not one. She said something about a line of credit or a consolidation loan that didn't move forward, and that some things changed this year with rates. Then she said she could get me an approval for $46,000 if my income supported it.

She told me to press 1 if I was interested or to call back at 855-909-0848. It felt off immediately. I didn't press anything. I just deleted the call and reported it as junk.

Getting constant loan scam calls for a loan I never applied for

I keep getting these calls, sometimes multiple times a day, from different numbers. Every time it's the same recorded message. A woman says she's Adriana Salazar, a credit analyst, and that she's working on my approval for a personal line of credit or a consolidation loan for about $46,000.

The message says I had inquired before and things have changed. It tells me to press one or call back at 855-909-0848 to review my options.

The problem is I never applied for any sort of loan. Not now, not before. I have no idea why they have my number or why they keep calling me with this script. It's just a constant stream of these same scam calls about an advance fee loan I never wanted.

Got a voicemail about a loan I never asked for

I got a voicemail from someone named Adriana Salazar. She said she’s a credit analyst and that I had inquired about a personal loan or consolidation. I never did that.

She said a few things changed this year and they could probably approve me for about $46,000. She told me to press one or call back at 855-909-0848 to go over my terms.

It felt off. I don’t remember asking for any loan. The message just showed up out of nowhere.

Got a loan approval call I never asked for, keeps happening

I got this message today from 812-737-8516. I never apply for loans from anyone that doesn't have a local bank office near me. I've gotten this same message over and over.

It says, "Hi, this is Adriana calling about your loan application. I am with the verification department. My name is Adriana Salazar. I am the credit analyst on your approval. I see that you had inquired regarding a personal line of credit or consolidation loan. And while it didn't move forward at the time, a few things have changed this year, with rates and underwriting, most likely we can get you approved for about $46,000, if your income can support that. If you still interested in reviewing your options, you can press one now or give us a call back at 855-909-0848. I'll be happy to go over your terms with you. Looking forward to speak with you."

I never inquired about any of this. It feels off.
