Warranty call that switched companies halfway through

I got a call from someone saying they were from Honda warranty services and they could cover my 2018 Honda Civic. It sounded legit at first. Then they asked for payment and suddenly said they were from Advance American Auto instead. They gave me this number (888) 910-5045 to call back.

I looked up that number and saw other people had complained about them. So I didn't pay anything. But it was just weird how they switched companies like that in the middle of the call.
