Paid $250 to a fireplace company that just pushed a button

I got a free estimate from AirGuard Pro. A guy came out to look at my fireplace and said he could fix it for $250 cash. I asked what the issue was and he just repeated the price. Then he pushed the pilot light button and said it was fixed.

He didn't give me a real invoice for the work, just a paper showing what I was charged. If he had said it was $60 for the visit and then another $200 to push a button, I would have said no thanks. I can reset a pilot light myself. I feel like I paid $250 for nothing.
