Paid for a water slide rental that never showed up

I rented a water slide from akbpartyrentals for my son's birthday party. They told me the total price for the package was $250. Then later on they said they needed another $250 for an insurance deposit. I paid a $150 deposit first to hold it for my event.

The night before the party, they told me they overbooked the slide and I needed to pay the remaining $100 balance. I did, because I didn't think they wouldn't show up—they were recommended by people. Then I got an email from a delivery company saying they needed another $350 to deliver it. I didn't pay that.

I'm very upset. I got scammed out of my money and I need it back. I'm out a total of $450.
