Scam group calling themselves Alianza Latina took $800 for a bill they never paid
They target the Hispanic community when they're desperate, and it's so unfair. I don't want there to be more victims. My acquaintance was told to send half (50%) of his light bill to them, and this organization promised to pay the whole bill.
He sent $800 to the Zelle of María López at 646-797-1121. They kept the money. They said they paid the bills, but they used some payment method that bounced. Nothing ever got paid.
