Sent money for car warranty then couldn't get them to cancel

I got a letter in the mail about activating a car warranty on my new vehicle I just bought. So I sent in the fee they wanted, I think it was 259 dollars. Then I kept getting more notices in the mail about warranties.

Turns out this company wasn't even the right one I meant to get the warranty from. I thought all the mail was from the same place. When I finally found the real company I tried to cancel with this first one but they kept pressuring me and pressuring me to stay. I told them over and over I wanted to cancel.

Now I still don't know if they canceled the policy or not. And I'm waiting on my refund from the money I paid.
