Allison Reed / Litigation Office Reviews

• Feb 13, 2026

Got a scary call about a debt settlement with US Bank from years ago.

I got a call returned to a number left on my voicemail, 877-265-2719. I told them I was skeptical and wanted to check my records because I haven't dealt with US Bank in over 20 years. They gave me a direct number to follow up, 214-574-3147, to see if the original debtor would accept a settlement payment.

The person said her name was Allison Reed and she was with the litigation office. She said multiple attempts had been made to serve me papers at addresses I'd lived at. Allison said if the settlement offer was accepted, they'd email me the documents and review them with me by phone. Then they'd give me a website to log in for payment, since she couldn't take payments directly at that office.

They had the last four of my SSN, my old addresses, my current one, and my email. It was scary how convincing it was with all that personal info. It made me wonder, but something just didn't add up.
