Fake job offer through Handshake that cost me nearly two thousand dollars

I got contacted by someone through Handshake, which is a platform my college actually told us to use to connect with employers. So I thought it was legit. He sent me a job offer for a remote position and it all seemed normal at first.

He had me fill out a Google Doc with my info and then sent me a check through some website called Zil to deposit into my account. My bank flagged the check right away and I ended up stuck with the $1,950 that bounced. Now he has all my personal information like my address and stuff.

I already locked all 3 credit bureaus and put a fraud alert out. His number is 1(628) 286-4818 and the website is www.allstarmovingcompany.org. Address was 18 Farragut Ave in San Francisco.
