Phone call asking for burial insurance and my kids’ info

Someone called from (253) 265-8388 and said they were with American Amicable Insurance. They wanted me to get burial insurance. They asked for my full name and address, who I banked with, and then they asked for my children’s full names and birthdays.

I gave them some of that stuff but when they asked for my social security number I hung up. It didn’t feel right. They’re based out of WA, USA. I didn’t lose any money but it was weird how much personal info they wanted.
