Got a message about winning an award and they wanted $1200 for a plaque

I got this message saying I won something called America's Best in Medicine. They said it was an award. But then they told me I had to pay $1200 to get a plaque for it. That just felt off to me. Who pays that much for a plaque? I didn't send any money.

The contact came from a phone number, (516) 435-2763, and they mentioned a website, Linkedin.com. The address they gave was in VA, USA. It all just seemed like a vanity award scam, where they try to get you to pay for some fake honor. I didn't reply after they asked for the money.
