Phone call about a loan I never took out from March 2021
Got a call from a lady who said she was from ANR. She claimed I took out a personal installment loan back in March 2021 for 700 dollars. She said since I never responded to their attempts to settle they were now reporting it to all 3 credit bureaus for 4700 dollars.
I never took out any loan. She said it was from sometime during COVID. I asked her to send me something in writing about it and she said no, that she already did. She recited my full Social Security number and date of birth without even asking me to verify anything first. That felt really off.
