Free item offer turned into monthly charges I never agreed to

They advertise a free item, just pay $1.99 for shipping. So I did that. Then right after they started charging me $29.99 every month without my permission.

When I tried to cancel my subscription they made it really hard. They ask for your phone number on file to send you a code. But when you pay the $1.99 the phone number is optional. So if you didn’t put your number in then it’s impossible to cancel online because the code never comes.

This site is a total scam. I want my full refund. I give permission to use this to warn other buyers.
