Got a job offer text from Anytime Telecare, then they wanted me to print a check

I got a text saying I qualified for a job with Anytime Telecare. They used the phone number 1(310) 221-1890 and the email [email protected], said they were based in CA.

It felt off right away. They said the job was set but then requested I print an emailed check to get office equipment. That didn't make any sense to me. I didn't lose any money, but the whole thing was clearly a scam for an employment offer.
