I ordered a product from Apex Peptides on 5/24/26, and had to pay for it through Cash App to a person named “Finnegan Schoebel” but it wouldn’t go through cause Cash App said it was a scam. Then they told me to send my money to “Chris Jones” and that didn’t go through at first but I kept telling Cash App it was ok and it finally went through. They texted me that they received the payment but I didn’t hear anything from them for days and then I texted them asking for tracking info. They finally sent me a text with a tracking number through Freight Liner Cargo, but the number wouldn’t work, and there was no contact info. After a few more days I finally got a text from Freight Liner Cargo saying my order was being held at the airport and I had to pay them $100 to release it. I texted them back, as well as, Apex and told them that this was a scam and to give me a refund cause I was not going to pay any more money. Buyer beware.
This is the text message I got from them.
“We hope this message finds you well.
We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding your shipment currently in transit.
At this time, your package has been placed on hold at —————————International Airport in accordance with aviation and customs regulations. To proceed with the delivery, an insurance deposit is required to cover handling, transit security, and potential damage protection.
Insurance Deposit Details:
* Required Deposit: $100.00
* Refund Policy: 95% refundable upon successful delivery
* Administrative Fee: 5% retained for documentation and processing
Please be assured that this deposit is a standard procedure to ensure the safe and compliant transportation of your shipment. Once the payment has been completed, your package will be released immediately and delivered to your specified address without further delay.
In the unlikely event of loss or damage, you will be fully compensated with double the declared value of the package, in addition to a full refund of your deposit.

Ordered peptides and they keep asking for more money for "delivery insurance"
They said I had to pay an extra "delivery insurance" fee. It was hundreds of dollars more. I didn't pay it. Then they tried to get me to pay even more money after that. It felt really off.
The phone number they use is (402) 210-4212. Their email is [email protected]. The whole thing just doesn't make sense. You pay for a product and then they want more money to actually send it.
