Lost over $1,000 to a fake job portal after a virtual interview

I thought this was a company I had tried to apply to years ago and got denied. They had me apply, and then I got an offer letter after doing a virtual interview. I filled it out with all my personal info, the usual stuff HR needs.

Then they asked me to pay for a certification course and an equipment shipping fee from Chatswood, Australia, plus a customs fee. They promised all of it would be reimbursed. My payment info is also now in their online portal, which is set up to look just like a real work-from-home job site. I lost $1,077.58.
