Job offer after 10 minute chat interview felt off
I ended up rejecting the offer letter and let them know I would be reporting them. Their address is listed as 12131 113th Ave NE Suite in Kirkland, WA. I didn't lose any money but I wanted to warn people not to apply. The phone number they used was (425) 979-2123 and the email was [email protected]. Just seems too good to be true for a real job.
Remote job offer from Appen USA turned out to be fake
Job listing for text chat work asked for all my personal info
Their website is appenusatalent.com and the email was [email protected]. I feel stupid now. Just don't do it if you see this.
I didn't lose any money but they have everything else. Be careful out there.
Job offer letter that turned out to be a scam
But then I decided to look into it more and I read online that it’s a scam. The phone number they use is 1(425) 979-2123 and the website is appenusatalent.com. Their address says alent 12131 113th Ave NE Suite in Kirkland WA.
I didn’t lose any money but it still feels weird. I just wanted to put this out there.
Job offer after a chatbot interview that felt off
Their website is appenusatalent.com and the email they used was [email protected]. They also have an address in Kirkland, WA. The phone number they gave was 1(425) 979-2123. I didn't lose any money but the whole thing felt strange. No real interview, just a bot and then a letter.
Job offer from Appen USA Talent felt like a scam from the start
The whole thing felt off. They had a website at appenusatalent.com and an address in Kirkland, WA, 12131 113th Ave NE Suite. The phone number they gave was 1(425) 979-2123. I didn't lose any money but it didn't feel right so I stopped. No company name on the email really made me wonder.
Job offer came way too fast after an AI interview
They used the website appenusa.com/careers and the email was [email protected]. Their address is in Kirkland, WA 98034. The phone number they listed was (425) 979-2123. I didn't lose any money but it just seemed off how fast they wanted to hire me.
Applied for a job, got an offer, then found out it's a known scam.
But before I did anything else, I decided to check up on them. I found out this company, Appen USA Talent, has been scamming people looking for jobs for years. They pretend to be 'Appen.com' to trick people. Looking back, I thought it was weird they asked how I wanted to get paid during the interview—like by bank, credit card, or check. That seemed off.
Now I'm thinking if I had said to pay me by mail instead of direct deposit, maybe I wouldn't have even gotten the offer. I didn't go through with any onboarding. I sent an email to [email protected] and told them to delete all my personal information and that I was withdrawing my application. They never even replied.
Keeps emailing me to finish onboarding even after I told them they're called a scam
Luckily, because of other people online, I didn't lose any money. But someone needs to do something. From what I understand, you pay for one course for $37.00 or something, and then they ask for another $200.00. Please stop this.
