Job offer from AppenUSA Talent turned into asking for money

I applied for a job with AppenUSA Talent. They had me do a virtual bot interview, then about 30 minutes later the HR Manager Carla offered me the job. She did a background check and set up direct deposit with all my banking info.

I paid for the course and software activation keys. That came to about $39.99. Then they wanted me to pay $200 for shipping costs and that’s when I stopped. Now I cannot get anyone to respond to me except some IT Specialist who keeps telling me to contact my HR. Nobody picks up or writes back.
