Got a fake payment email about Apple Phone
The email told me to call 1-801-405-2871 if I had questions. It had an address in San Jose and an email, [email protected]. The whole thing felt off immediately. I didn't click anything, but it was clearly trying to look like a real receipt.
I contacted PayPal about it to dispute it as a scam. The email is just a phishing attempt, trying to get me to call that number. Nothing was actually taken from my account, but getting this was really unsettling.
