Call about a debt they couldn't even describe

I got a call from someone who said they were with Associate Recovery Group. They claimed I owed some kind of debt but when I asked them to tell me what it was or show me proof, the lady said she "didn't know" and couldn't give me any details.

Then she said the sheriff was going to come serve me papers. I asked again what the debt was for and she still couldn't say. She mentioned letters that were supposedly sent to an old address I haven't lived at in almost ten years.

Whole thing felt threatening and just really unprofessional. I don't even know what they want from me.
