Phone call saying my AT&T credit card payment was overdue

I got a call from some number, (925) 452-1295, and the guy said he was from AT&T. He told me my credit card payment was overdue. I knew right away that was a lie because I don’t even have a credit card with them.

So I said “That’s a total lie! This is a scam.” And they hung up before I could even finish. I tried calling the number back and it was clearly fake, just rang weird. No real company name on the caller ID either.

Just wanted to report it. Didn’t lose any money but it felt shady.
