Email about a loan balance I never took out

I got an email from someone saying I had an outstanding loan balance. They gave an address at 2686 Glenwood Ave in Atlanta and a phone number (816) 553-4547. The email was from [email protected]. I honestly thought it was real and I fell for it. I lost $3,740 before I realized what was happening.

My friend helped me figure out it was a scam. I feel pretty dumb about it but I just wanted to report it so nobody else gets taken like I did.
