Got a weird text about my car warranty, telling me to call and activate something

I got a text message from (800) 820-7908, saying it was from Auto Coverage. It said attached were new ID cards for my service contract. The text told me to CALL NOW to activate the cards for my vehicle to be valid. It said their records show my manufacturer's new car warranty may have expired, so I need to give my exact mileage when I call to activate a new service contract.

I never signed up for anything with them. I didn't open any attachments. The whole thing felt off. It was just an unsolicited text pushing me to call a number right away. I didn't lose any money, but it seems like a phishing attempt to get my personal information.
