Message through Auto Trader app about a car and a check that seemed off

Someone messaged me on the Auto Trader app and told me to text them at (404) 790-4848. So I did, and we talked about the car I was interested in. They said they were traveling and asked if they could send me a check first, then after it cleared they would have the vehicle shipped.

I know how this works. They send a check for more than the price and then want you to send back the extra. Then the check bounces and you're out the money. I didn't fall for it but figured I should share so other people know.
