Email from someone pretending to be a loan company

Got an email from [email protected] saying they were a loan company. They had a phone number too (786) 309-1401 and said they were in Florida. Sounded like they could help me get a loan.

They asked for some info upfront and then wanted money before anything happened. I sent $12. I know it's not a ton but still. After I paid they kept asking for more and I realized it wasn't right. No loan ever came.

Never heard from a real company name. Just that email and a phone number. Should have known better.
