Pushy guy named John Baker wanted me to buy a generator right away

I filled out a website contact form about a Home Generator. The questions they asked at first seemed legit, the details seemed true.

Then we went back and forth via email, and they gave me a quote for this generator. Then this "John Baker" called me from a Phoenix number (602) 834-4895. He was really pushy about buying it immediately. He wouldn't give me an address for his business or where he lived. Then he said he would pick it up and do the install himself. That didn't make sense with the kind of questions he was asking before.

I looked up that number and found what other people went through.
