Mail about annual report filing that looked like a government invoice

On May 28th, 2026, our company got this mail solicitation from BBFile.com about our annual report filing. The document looked just like an official government notice and invoice. The formatting was really deceptive and vague, so we ended up paying $209.00 thinking it was a required state fee. That's almost three times the actual state filing fee of $70.00.

We've been filing our own reports directly with the state for years, usually in July or August. This company sends these confusing, high-pressure solicitations months ahead of time. It feels like they're trying to trick business owners into paying way too much for something we don't even need.
