Paid $75 for a state bike program that was a scam
Turns out the smoke shop and the FREE E-BIKES signs were all taken down in Lakewood. Every location I looked up on Google Maps was never a real store front for these e-bikes. So basically they just took my $75 and my personal information. It's bad enough to do this to anyone but to target people who are struggling or elderly or have cognitive issues is just wrong.
I know there's talk about Bear Trail E-Bikes having programs in other states but I would be careful if you give them any of your info or money because you probably won't get a bike. I really hope nobody else gets taken by these people.
Paid for an ebike using Colorado tax credit and got nothing
Now I got nothing. No bike, no tracking number, no reply. I emailed [email protected] and nothing. The address they have is 1549 North Wadsworth Boulevard in Denver. I don't even know if that's real.
I just want my $74 back or the bike. This feels like a total scam.
Ordered an ebike and they stopped answering after taking my money
After 12 weeks on June 1 I called and emailed for an update. Never heard back. Then on June 15 I called and emailed again. I also drove to the address they list on their Locations page at 10101 E Hampden Ave in Denver CO. There was no store there.
Its now June 29 and I still havent heard anything. The phone number (970) 404-2229 is no longer working. I paid $74 and they also took my one-time tax credit of $225. So $299 total.
Paid $75 for bike assembly but no bike ever showed up
I never got a bike. Not assembled, not even a box. Nothing. They took my $75 and I also gave them all my personal info because it was part of the state rebate program. So now they have all that sensitive information too.
I figured out they are basically keeping the $225 from the state and my $75 for assembly. Their website is beartrailbikes.com and their address is in Denver. Phone number is (970) 404-2229. I just want people to know what happened.
Ordered e-bikes with Colorado tax credit and now no one will help
Bear Trail is saying Colorado didn't pay them back and told us to call the department of energy. But the department of energy says they won't pay Bear Trail until the bikes are delivered. So it's just back and forth. Bear Trail moved from their Lakewood location and won't answer the phone anymore. My son and I are both out $50 and our rebate credits are used up.
Ordered two e-bikes five months ago and still nothing
I filled out a contact form a few weeks ago for an update, no response. I called, nobody picked up, left a message, nothing. Sent an email to their customer service email, still nothing. They took our money, didn't deliver, way past the delivery window, and won't reply to anything. I asked to cancel or switch to other bikes or just get an ETA with a deadline, any of those would have been fine. Instead zero responses to any channel. It's infuriating. Don't do business here.
